Two beloved Bible passages are skillfully combined by David Cherwien in this setting of John 10:14-16a and Psalm 23. The voice of Jesus in the John verses is given an energetic and dynamic treatment with Psalm 23 gently interspersed throughout. The texts are supported by full, rich music with harmonic language that will both surprise and delight. C-inst part is included in the anthem.
