Jayne Southwick Cool wrote the text and tune of this gently flowing hymn-anthem, which speaks to the mystery and wonder of the Incarnation. The piano accompaniment borrows melodies from well-known carols to enhance the text and help the listener make the connection between the new words while drawing on memories of the familiar.
