Rigid harmonies evoke Noah's fierce loyalty in one section; haunting melodies depict the magnitude of the flood in another. "Go Into the Ark" is an elegant yet memorable work that will leave choristers humming on their way out of rehearsal.

Composer Commentary

I was very excited when my first choral piece, "A Present Help in Trouble," was published. I had written the piece with the St. Olaf Choir in mind, and I was overjoyed when they brought it to life in the spring of 2015.
