Composer Commentary
"Jesus, Send Us on Your Mission" was written to celebrate 40 years of pastoral ministry for Pastor Dean Nasdasdy, who is the author of the text and also a former senior pastor of Woodbury Lutheran Church, where I serve as music director. I find there are few texts dealing with witness and mission, so this should be a welcomed addition to any church's music library.
