Herb Brokering wrote this text to honor his wife Lois and the legacy of their faithful love. On the day she died in a car accident, he happened to be reciting this poem to a group of ministers and thereafter kept it in his shirt pocket for weeks to come as a tribute to Lois and a comfort to his family.
