Augsburg Fortress

This is a festive and rhythmic setting of Psalm 150 from John Helgen. The outer sections feature mixed meter and imitative choral entrances, while the middle provides imaginative text painting through rhythmic patterns and full harmonies. The addition of trumpet and optional timpani help give this anthem a grand feel without the need for lots of extra resources.
