Lutheran Voices Submission GuidelinesSeries Vision: To develop quality, accessible books written primarily by ELCA authors that inform, teach, inspire, and renew. Grounded in Lutheran theology and practice, the books will cover a wide range of subjects and themes of interest to ELCA members and the wider Christian community. The writers will be encouraged to consider how their "voices" might inspire renewal and reform in the Christian community and the world.Authors: We are seeking prophets and preachers, politicians and pastors; educators and scientists, caregivers and counselors; professors and students; scholars and home makers people who have stories to tell, topics to illumine, and ideas to explore. It is expected that the authors will write out of a foundational understanding of Lutheran theology and practice, though topics may of interest to a wider Christian audience. Format: The books in the series will feature attractive 4-color covers and will be approximately 96 pages long. Each book will include questions that may be used for individual reflection or group discussion. Each book will include a one-page bibliography of related resources. Manuscript specifications: Manuscripts should be approximately 22,000 to 25,000 words, typed at about 260 words per page. That means a manuscript of about 85-95 pages. This works out to be a book that is approximately 96 pages at a trim size of about 5-1/4 x 7-3/4. Book submissions: Please include the following information with your proposal.
