Thanks to your support through the purchase of Augsburg Fortress products, these ministry goals—and more—became a reality last year.

Our ministry is publishing. Unlike most other publishers, Augsburg Fortress is a unit of the ELCA and we reinvest all proceeds into the development of new resources that meet our common goals within the ELCA. Your financial support amounts to much more than a decision to purchase our products and services —it's an act of stewardship. Because our goal is your goal: to help sustain and grow the ministries of congregations like yours and to serve people in need.

In 2004, your support enabled us to develop a new VBS program featuring a mission project that raised $300,000 for the digging of wells for safe drinking water in Bangladesh. And this year, thanks to your support, VBS participants can partake in two stewardship projects: Project Senegal, to raise awareness and funds for health care needs in Senegal, Africa, and the Mahafale Project, an ELCA sponsored mission in Madagascar.
