Timothy Strand

Biography

Timothy Strand is the Minister of Music and Worship at University Lutheran Church of Hope in Minneapolis. He is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and received his master's degree in Church Music and Organ Performance from the Indiana University School of Music. Tim has served in both Lutheran and Episcopal parishes in the Twin Cities over the last 20 years. As a busy freelance accompanist he regularly plays for Magnum Chorum and Mounds Park Academy. He also regularly plays on promotional organ and choral recordings Augsburg Fortress, Morning Star Music Publishers and Kjos Music Publishers. As an organist, Tim concertizes frequently in the Twin Cities area and has served as interim chapel organist at both his alma mater, Gustavus and at Luther Seminary.
