 John Paradowski
Biography
John R. Paradowski is the Minister of Music/Organist at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, where he oversees a wide range of musical activities including multiple graded choir programs, worship planning, and a concert series. He has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Concord Chamber Orchestra, Milwaukee Choral Artists, and many other organizations, provided organ music for a PBS documentary on Church Architecture as well as led many sessions and workshops in creative church music and hymnody throughout the country. With over thirty years experience in Church Music, Paradowski graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied organ and harpsichord with Dr. John Chappell Stowe. He has furthered studied organ with Dr. Susan Klotzbach and Dr. John Ferguson. In 2005 he was awarded the National Religious Music Alliance, Award of Distinction “for developing and maintaining one of our nation's finest worship music programs.” He is a published author for “Overtones,” the official journal of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, as well as “The Chorister,” the journal for the Choristers Guild. He is published by Augsburg Fortress Publishing House as well as by Choristers Guild Publishing. In his spare time he enjoys playing with his dog Chester.
