Rev. Jessicah Duckworth is
the Associate Professor of Christian Formation and Teaching at
Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. An ordained
minister in the ELCA, she served as Associate Pastor at St.
Paul’s Lutheran Church in Doylestown Pennsylvania. Professor
Duckworth has also taught at Princeton Theological Seminary and
Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, and serves on the Catechumenate Task Force of the ELCA.

The Rev. Shauna K. Hannan is an Adjunct
Professor of Homiletics at Lutheran Theological Southern
Seminary. Professor Hannan has been an Adjunct Professor,
Instructor, Teaching Fellow, and Associate Admissions Director
at various theological institutions and is an ordained minister
of the ELCA. She enjoys teaching practical theology and speech,
and this enthusiasm helps drive her passion for finding new and
exciting ways to communicate the gospel to children.

Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Liberia, and Brazil to lead and co-lead

Marilyn Sharpe is Director of Cross +
Generational Ministries with The Youth and Family Institute.
For 28 years, Marilyn has been passionately committed to helping
parents, grandparents, teachers, and other caring adults
understand how to effectively foster the faith of children. She
teaches that families are the classroom for teaching all that is
most important, and that parents and congregations are most
successful when they learn to work together to keep the
baptismal promises. Marilyn has been a parent for 36 years and
grandparent for four, and knows first-hand the joys and
challenges of being a family of faith.

Rev. Paul Lutz serves on the ELCA’s New Jersey
Synod Council as well as the synod’s Evangelism and Discipling
Teams. Pastor Lutz is passionate about childhood faith
formation, and has published several articles, bible studies and
adult education resources. He served for five years as the
Associate Director for Adult Education in the churchwide offices
for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and currently
serves as the Synod Advocate for the Book of Faith Initiative
and chairs the ELCA Book of Faith Advocate Leadership Team.
